refund policy
voiddo (stylized as vøiddo) — an independent product studio operating remote, owner and operator of the site geo.voiddo.com, contactable at support@voiddo.com. throughout this document “voiddo”, “we”, “us”, and “the studio” all refer to the same entity. this page describes when we issue refunds for paid subscriptions, how to request one, and how long it takes. payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the merchant of record — refunds are issued through Paddle and follow the timeline below.
fourteen-day money back
every paid plan (starter, growth, agency) comes with a fourteen-day full refund window from the date of your first paid charge. if you decide the service isn't right for your team within that window, email support@voiddo.com with the email address on your Paddle receipt and the subject line “refund”. we'll process it within one business day. you do not have to explain yourself or fill out a form.
this applies whether or not you took the trial. the fourteen days run from the first charge that hits your card, not from signup.
after fourteen days
after the fourteen-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing month, but you can cancel at any time and you will not be billed for the next month. cancel through the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us — both routes work and reach the same outcome.
if you cancel mid-month, the service continues until the end of the month you've already paid for. you don't lose access early as punishment for canceling.
exceptions where we always refund
regardless of when in the billing cycle you raise it, we will refund in full if:
- the service was substantially unavailable during the billing period — for example, the audit engine was down for more than forty-eight hours of the month.
- we shipped a change that materially reduced the value of the plan you bought (e.g. removed providers, dropped query counts) without giving you a fourteen-day notice and an opt-out path.
- you were billed for a plan you can demonstrate you did not authorize — for example, you cancelled before the trial converted but the conversion happened anyway due to a bug on our end.
- your local consumer law gives you a statutory withdrawal right that hasn't yet expired (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, EU consumer protection directives, etc.) — we honor those without argument.
statutory withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)
if you are an individual consumer (not a business) in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-service contract within fourteen days of placing the order, except where the service has already started and you explicitly consented to that. for vøiddo geo specifically: by clicking “start trial” or “subscribe” you consent to immediate service start; if you then exercise the withdrawal right within fourteen days, we'll refund the prorated amount for any time you did not use plus a full refund of any unused months that were billed in advance.
how refunds reach you
refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Paddle typically processes the refund within three business days; depending on your bank and card network, the credit appears on your statement within three to fourteen days after that. we have no way to expedite the bank-side timeline — Paddle's docs on this are at paddle.com/help/manage/your-customers/buyers-refunds.
refunds older than sixty days from the original transaction cannot be processed through Paddle's standard flow. if you have a refundable claim that old (e.g. you only just discovered a billing bug), email us anyway — we'll work it out with Paddle support, but the timeline is longer.
fraud & chargebacks
if you believe a charge on your card from vøiddo or Paddle / vøiddo geo is fraudulent — you didn't subscribe, don't recognize it — please email us first at support@voiddo.com before filing a chargeback. nine times out of ten this is a charge from someone else in the same household, a lapsed trial that converted, or a billing-descriptor confusion. we resolve these in hours, where a chargeback takes weeks and risks both sides. that said, if you're a real cardholder defrauded by someone using your card without authorization, file the chargeback — we'll cooperate with the investigation in full.
